ADVISORY BOARD

Reliance Capital Partners’ Advisory Board is comprised of four representatives from the regional business community and Limited Partners group. The primary duties of the Advisory Board, are to resolve conflicts between the General Partner and the Fund, provide an unbiased outside perspective to the management team, enhance and assist management effectiveness, review and approve the acquisition, portfolio and exit strategies of the Fund.

Mr. Gary Baker is the President & CEO of Cochran, Cochran & Yale LLC,( www.ccy.com)a boutique executive search and consulting firm founded in 1979. Cochran, Cochran & Yale is a certified Service Connected Veteran Owned Small Business (SCVOSB) by the GSA. As a small business owner and entrepreneur, Mr. Baker has founded seven separate businesses all related to the human resources and consulting industry. As a subject matter expert in identification and appropriate utilization of human capital, Mr. Baker has consulted with companies ranging from start-up’s to Fortune 1000 global corporations. Industry expertise includes Biotechnology, Distilled Spirits/Wine, Banking/Financial Services, Consumer Packaged Goods, Oil/Gas Exploration, Telecommunications, Higher Education, Pharmaceutical and various types of manufacturing. Mr. Baker has attended Rochester Institute of Technology for graduate courses in business and statistics as well as receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Economics and Finance at The State University of New York at Brockport.
Prior to entering the human resources consulting and executive recruiting field, Mr. Baker worked in a variety of financial capacities at The Gleason Works, Lightnin’ Mixers and Bausch & Lomb, Inc. Mr. Baker is a Vietnam Era Veteran serving in Qui Nhon, South Vietnam from 1968 to 1969 in the US Army, 5th Transportation Command.
Mr. Baker currently is a member of the 2013 PGA Hospitality Committee to be held at Oak Hill Country Club in Rochester, NY. He is an active member of Upstate Venture Association of New York (UVANY) and Western New York Venture Association, International Association for Corporate and Professional Recruitment (IACPR) and the American Association of Finance and Accounting (AAFA). Prior Board level involvement has included being a member of the founding Board of CDS Foundation, American Heart Association, and Board member and Chair of the Greens Committee of Penfield Country Club.
Mr. Baker is an avid golfer, enjoys fishing, skiing and travel. He is married and has two adult children.

Mr. Patrick White founded Document Security Systems, Inc. www.documentsecurity.com (a NYSE AMEX:DMC company) in 2002 and serves as Chief Executive Officer and a Director. Document Security Systems, Inc. is a world leader in the development and manufacturing of optical deterrent and authentication technologies that secure electronic data and help prevent counterfeiting and brand fraud from the use of desktop scanner and copiers in the market. Under Mr. White’s direction, in 2008 and 2009 the company was named a “Technology Fast 500” which is a list published by Deloitte LLP for the fastest growing technology companies in the USA. DSS has 100 employees in its manufacturing plants in San Francisco, CA and Rochester, NY. DSS has had a 50% compound average growth rate during his tenure as CEO.

Mr. White, a forward thinking, results driven security technology industry executive, brings over 33 years of private and public company operating, financial and management experience to DSS and to the Fund’s board. He has extensive experience building successful organizations through combining his expertise in strategic planning, capital raising, security, product design and development, sales and marketing, M&A and operations management.

Mr. White currently sits on the board of several technology companies and is a frequent speaker at industry functions. Previously, Mr. White has held executive and financial positions at Citizens Bank (formerly Rochester Community Savings Bank) and has owned and operated several commercial print manufacturing companies he has acquired. Mr. White received his Bachelors in Accounting and his MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology.



Mr. David Klein is the Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Constellation Brands, Inc a Fortune 1000™ company. David joined Constellation Brands, Inc., in September 2004 as vice president of business development. In March 2007, Klein was promoted to Chief Financial Officer of Constellation Europe working out of Constellation’s London office.


In March 2009, Klein was promoted to Treasurer of Constellation Brands, Inc. In his current role, Klein is responsible for the quantitative management of risk, improving company wide cash flow generation and the management of capital structure. Klein’s previous contributions at Constellation include lead roles on several international acquisitions and divestitures, as well as conceptualizing and executing Constellation’s UK distribution joint venture. While at Constellation Europe, he championed an analytical framework for customer profitability and management analysis and led a strategic review of the overall European business model which eventually led to the sale of that business.


Preceding his tenure at Constellation Brands, Klein held the Chief Financial Officer role at Montana Mills, an IPO company, where he led the transformation from private to public company and then subsequently led the sale of Montana Mills to Krispy Kreme. David also held the Chief Financial officer role at NetSetGo, an internet and network services startup which won several business and technical awards. Prior to these entrepreneurial positions, Klein served as the Director of M&A at Xerox Corporation and as Director of Finance and Accounting for Harris Corporation. David Received Bachelor’s degree in Economics from SUNY Geneseo and his MBA from the University at Buffalo.
